GET THE FACTS ON MEASURE T

The Time for a Safety Upgrade is NOW

Measure T Will Help Rebuild San Jose's Vital Infrastructure to Make Us Safer

How? By investing in disaster preparedness, public safety and infrastructure improvements.

Whether fire emergency, earthquakes or flood, Measure T will ensure San Jose is ready to keep our residents safe.

Decades of underinvestment in deteriorating streets, bridges and critical public safety facilities have undermined our daily emergency response, and made us more vulnerable to inevitable natural disasters.

We can change that – and save lives – by voting for Measure T.

According to San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia, “We’re successfully adding more police officers and firefighters, but we must upgrade our 911 communications facilities to improve fire, police, and paramedic response to emergencies, rebuild police training facilities and crumbling fire stations, and upgrade our emergency operations center to better coordinate our response.”
